About Kelly's Greens

Kelly's Greens started with giving away home-grown vegetables to appreciative friends. They inspired me to expand my garden to supply their friends and their friends' friends as well.  After 28 years as an English Professor, it's been a thrill to make something that any living person can see, taste, and enjoy. Here in the Brazos Valley, growers, chefs, and their customers have started something exciting and sustainable that I'd like to be a part of--a local growing and eating movement that keeps food production close to home.  So Kelly's Greens has brought together my long-time interest in growing food, in sharing it with friends, and in taking care of the planet.
